The Chinese Facilitator Conference promotes, supports and advances the art and practice of professional facilitation through methods exchange, professional growth, practical research, collegial networking and support services.
One of the most important means is to ground the profession through the younger generation. We offer student scholarship upon request within our annual budget.
Secondly, to stimulate international and interregional participation in these conferences, we seek sponsorship upon request for qualified IAF members who live outside our region to attend our conference.
The Scholarship covers the two day conference registration fee, including the meals offered as part of the conference package. For the global participants, we offer letters for visa applications and every effort will be made to find accommodation for scholarship recipients at reduced costs.
Please note: The cost of transportation, pre/post conference training and other personal expenses are NOT included in the conference scholarship policy.
The applicant must be able to show that she or he:
- Is a student. (for the student scholarship)
- Is a practicing facilitator. (for other participants)
- Requires economic assistance in order to attend.
- Has the potential for multiplying the learnings in his/her home country/area
- Has not received a prior scholarship from IAF or the Chinese Facilitator Conference
- Is willing to contribute to the conference attended with his/her talents and knowledge(volunteer, logistical work, workshop presentation, etc.).
